BACKLASH FLARES OVER MUSLIM AMERICAN HERITAGE DISPLAY AT ALTOONA LIBRARY

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) - July is Muslim American Heritage Month, and the Altoona Public Library is marking it with an in-house display — a move that has drawn both support and backlash online.

Library Director Olivia Morris said the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Foundation approached the library about creating the display.
